Which operating system are you trying to Upgrade from?
Did you check in the Network card manufacturer's website for the latest drivers? If not, I suggest that you check in the manufacturer's website for the same to download and install them. Then, check if you face the same compatibility issue or not.
You may try disabling the Adapter through Device Manager and try to Upgrade. However, the operations are not guaranteed and as mentioned by the compatibility report you might also face issues with Network after the Upgrade as well.
